Emily is moving to Boulder for a sweet job. I must have been thinking about that when I drew this for her, because I think that red bit is a sea creature dragging her away and the blue stuff must be the tears of all of us in Portland who don’t want to see her go. This took HOURS by the way, and was so meditative to draw.
Pete & I are flying to Chicago tomorrow for a conference (him) and to visit my family, so I drew this awkward picture about it. I’m feeling quite awkward today because I hate my dress (too conservative) and so all my jokes and drawings are very awkward. I drew the people first, and then all the other stuff, and I am quite sad I drew people because all the other stuff is nice.
